Srimad Bhagavadgeeta : Chapter-4 :- (Akshara brahma yogam ), Slokam-8.

Paritranaya Sadhunam Vinasaya ca Dushkrutam
 Dharmasamsthapanarthaya Sabhvami yuge yuge.

Sadhunam Paritranaya = To protect and save good people
Dushkrutam Vinasaya = To destroy and wipe out the bad people
Dharmasamsthapanarthaya ca = To sustain and maintain Dharmam
Yuge yuge Sambhvami = My incarnation takes place every yugam

It is clear, that a birth from the Lord, must need a cause/desire, where there is no desire karma never takes place.
Without the aid of any instrument the presence of electricity is not seen/felt. Likewise, the Brahmam, if to take the form of the Lord or human form, some sort of desire/aim should be behind it.

Then what is the aim of Krishnavatharam? This is clear from Vyasamaharishi's words. The desire for unselfish service to the world is the highest and superior desire that one should have, whereever it is, it is the desire only.

Nikotine may not kill human suddenly, still it is poison.

Just like that, saving good people from evil doers, is, if the aim of avatharam, then another karmam is also necessary ------- Removal of evils.

Vinasam: destruction, is not complete wipeout of the individual evil doers, it is the removal of evil vasanas ( nature, thoughts, conduct) from the individual doers.

It is like separating old cloths, dresses and replcing with fresh new items in the almairah.
Avathara purushas encourage good, and mend the bad, and destroy them when they do not listen the warning and adament to remain evil.

Arjuna was not in the mood to fight the war, not ready to listen his friend Krishna.
But Lord takes care Arjuna as if Arjuna a child.
Why Lord need to explain the secret of his Avatharam?
